Please read carefully before making a booking. All visitors to Elephant Rescue Park are bound by the following terms.

Your Declaration

All bookings to our Park are accepted only on the basis of the following Terms and Conditions. You, all members of your party, and Elephant Rescue Park are bound by them. All Visitors to Elephant Rescue Park accept that they are solely responsible for their own health, safety and belongings and that they fully understand and accept the Terms and Conditions outlined below.

Hotel Pick-up & Transfer

Pick-up from your hotel located in Chiang Mai city is included in the tour price. If your hotel is outside the city, we would require an additional payment of at least ฿200 per person (depends on distance).

Deposit & Payment

A deposit is required during the booking process in order for us to confirm your booking.

1 – 3 people ฿1,000 total deposit

4 or more people ฿2,000 total deposit

The balance for your tour is payable at the Park in cash in ฿ (Thai Baht). Payment by credit card is NOT accepted.

Cancellation & No Show Policy

Cancellations have both an operational and financial impact on Elephant Rescue Park. As a result, the following booking conditions apply to ALL bookings:

Cancellation from date of booking up until 2 days before your tour is due to commence will incur a cancellation charge of 50% of the deposit paid.
Cancellation within 2 days prior to your tour commencing, or a No Show on the day, will incur a cancellation charge of 100% of the deposit paid.

General Conditions

We reserve the right to cancel or re-book your reservation in the event of any natural, political, or other unforeseen act over which we have no control.

Visitors will be in close contact with elephants, and as wild animals, they can be unpredictable and dangerous, and thus there may be some risk involved. In order to increase safety, Visitors agree to the following:

Follow your Guide and the policy of the Park seriously.
Do not approach elephants without a Guide / Mahout present.
Do not put hands into an elephant's mouth.
Do not approach elephants from behind.
Do not smoke or drink alcohol in / near elephants, elephant food, or in the dining areas.
Visits to the Park are entirely at the Visitor's own risk. All Visitors are covered by our personal accident insurance and medical expenses policy (limits and conditions apply). We recommend that all Visitors have individual emergency medical and travel insurance in place.
We will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to Visitors, or their property, and damages cannot be claimed in any eventuality.

All media recordings (e.g. photographs, audio, video) taken at Elephant Rescue Park remain the commercial property of Elephant Rescue Park, and any distribution or re-sale of such recordings require the written consent of Elephant Rescue Park.

Infant rate applies to a child under 3 years of age. Infants go free if they do not occupy a seat. If a seat is required, the infant pays the infant rate (฿500). For the Private Half Day Tour and Overnight Elephant Care pricing, please see the individual program pages.
